Chiropractic Manual Adjustments
As a Chiropractor, I pride myself on the application of a specific force in a specific direction. The direction and amplitude of this force are based upon how a specific joint is subluxated (stuck or misaligned) in a specific way. Chiropractic is the ART, PHILOSOPHY, and SCIENCE of the correction of the subluxation and alignment of the spine. We make specific adjustments in order to correct misalignments. The more specific the adjustment, the better the results! That’s where experience is helpful.
If you are looking to “get cracked” or “manipulated”, I may not be the right Chiropractor for you. But if you are looking for someone to help you through specific adjustments applied to the spine or any other subluxated (stuck or misaligned) joints, to achieve spinal alignment and balance, to remove interference to your nervous system which allows for optimum healing, function, and vitality…….then, I am the right person to see.
Bio Cranial Therapy
Bio cranial therapy, also known as craniosacral therapy, is a type of light-touch body method designed to alleviate tension in your muscles, bones, and central nervous system to improve mobility and relieve pain. By alleviating body tension and pain, this therapy can improve function and enhance overall health.
Stress, pressure, and strain are a part of daily living. Our bodies are designed to absorb a certain amount of stress. When stress levels exceed what your body can handle, tension develops in your muscles and nerves, causing pain and limiting your mobility. Bio cranial therapy consists of gentle head-touch techniques to release stress and tension in your body so that it can heal naturally.

Sacro Occipital Technique
Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) was originally formulated by Major Bertrand DeJarnette (The Major) who was a Doctor (chiropractor and osteopath) and Engineer in the 1920’s. The Major was inspired to go beyond simple spinal adjusting and developed methods of correcting the Cranium, Pelvis, Extremities, and Organs. This study brought about a system of adjusting patterns in the body, not just single body parts. The most significant pattern was the relationship between the sacrum and occiput (which became the name of the technique).
An important distinction of SOT is the use of indicators. Each adjustment has a sign or signal that we use to know when and where to adjust. For example, muscle tension at the knee may indicate the pelvis needs correction, and connective tissue fibers at the base of the skull (called occipital fibers) indicate different vertebra in the back or spine may be in need of an adjustment. This also tells us on the next visit if the correction has been completely or marginally effective. From these indicators, we design a different adjustment set on each visit, listening to the body each time. It takes study to master this method of care, but it makes for an effective, precise adjustment without relying exclusively on x-rays

Natural Energetics
The biggest and most powerful adjustment that can be received or given is the adjustment of the mind. Most people are moving away from or avoiding pain. Focusing upon a health goal and moving toward optimum health instead of moving away from pain is the biggest adjustment that can be given.
